Moving

It's Sunday and I'm wading through the carnage to turn it into package. When there are hangers, books, clothes, winter hats and baby lotion all in the same pile it get's confusing - not to mention the stray socks, pieces of fabric and the Gloria Vanderbilt biography. Where does one start? Packing what I'm taking. Seperating into sections. Though today IS garlic fest in Carp and I could go see an afternoon movie at the bytown that I've never had any desire to see until now, I will purge these absurd mental wanderings in honour of the move. Oops, wait, am I blogging right now? Spent some quality time with Vicky Lean on Friday - as well as 11 other people who each have a special place in my heart and I was so touched that all these people came out for the send off dinner - My previous boss from Club Monaco as well as a former co-worker, Jaime and Shelley, my current roomates, Kelly and Raquel, some current co-workers from the EXPLORE program. My raisin heart swelled into a strawberry at the total genuine kind nature of each and every one of them. A guy I worked with at the NCC 10 years ago even came out and bought me a goodbye beer. Oh, and the comedy level was through the roof. I had on an oversize t-shirt that said COOL at the top, and BREEZE down the middle. All the ladies were fancied up and I looked like a 12 year old from the 80s. We played some inapropriate charades at the table and I cackled like the Grandma in 'Throw Momma from the Train'.
