If I could give you a fast forward flash of what has taken place in the last 6 hours you would need to have a tranqulizer. Do they call it Zoloft? I don't know what YOU would need actually, but I'm about to sink into a bubble bath. It's the least I could do.

I have been moving and shaking for the past week to get things done and make things happen. I soon start a job at a language camp, teaching English and running a workshop. Meanwhile, I sang a concert on Friday, went out of town for an audition, fielded mails and calls from potential new students...HECTIC in the real sense of the word....but all towards good feeling things. Making dreams come true - you know, the usual.

Part of the excitement was the arrival of 5 new students, between the ages of 12 and 14 from Italy, who would be my Spanish students. Interesting! I can't wait to meet them! I had been corresponding with the Father over cost and schedule for a little over a week now, and I was starting to get excited.

Meanwhile, UBC wrote to inform me my documents were not considered official. I needed to have them sent directly from my previous educators. This sent me on a paper chase at 8am so that I may get them what they need rush delivery by tommorow, so that I can decide whether I move cross continent or not. On my way out the door, I read this email from the Italian: The children are from a charity home in Genova Italy. The payment our finanacee issue on your name include your charges and the nanny charges. The nanny will be taking care of the children during the lesson.which you will send to the nanny through western union or moneygram when the cheque clears.Without this fund the children cannot come for the lesson.

I had to re read it a few times to be sure. All formalities out the window, right? I mean, I wrote back a little note along the lines of "You mean you want the Nanny to pay me, right?"
As soon as wiring money gets in the mix...C'mon now. And none of this to mention my Mom was all hopped up on a bag of caffeine nuts when she picked me up for an appointment with her and the therapist after reading the mail. But I pulled through people. The phone keeps ringing, Opportunity keeps knocking, and I'm gonna keep shimmying towards that goal post with my eye on the prize. but first...sigh, time for a bath.
