Let it be known that I am not a fan of protest. I work with the law of attraction (as do we all, only mostly unconsciously) and protest is a form of aligning ourselves with the very thing that we do not want. It is a direct energy alignment with the feeling we are wanting to eliminate, which has the opposite of desired effect. An alternative would be to say, what is it that I want? If I want a safe place for children to play, for example, I am not going to march around the unsafe place, hooting and hollering in anger - that would defeat the purpose. I create a safe place, and I invite people in. I lead by example.

I talk about Sean Bell and what his friends and family are doing because my reaction is that they do not even realise what they are doing. They are pushing against what they don't want, and thereby invoking it, but beyond that, there is a beautiful lesson and a message within the entire chain of events. Anything that allows people to see injustice take place on a world stage teaches somebody somewhere something. It's like, somewhere down the line, one of the people involved is going to have an epiphany, and it will change their perspective of life, and push them to live in a more purposeful and profound manner. It is the idea that death is final, and that this life is all that there is that holds us back. There is beauty in the pain. Time is a human creation, and beyond that is eternity, where everything is actually all right and all well. It just takes "time" to get there, to see that, to be that.
