Tattoos

Tattoos are nice. They are also addictive. I only have five, and that doesn't seem like a big number to me since I know some people have too many to count. I will never have so many that they're uncountable, but I do want more. I want bold bright color. The bottom line for me is that I think they are very attractive, on male or female, and I also like the sort of creative free spririt nature of it all. Oh, and the fact that it hurts, but you squint through the pain and then it's a beautiful picture that stays on you. I don't agree with the idea that it will look silly when I'm 90. Yeah, maybe if it was a looney toon, which is unacceptable at any age (unless your Marc Jacobs).

I had an enormous crush on my Philosophy teacher all semester. He's married so it will only ever be a crush - but he is just amazing. He even had a goatee during the first month, which is totally unacceptable, but became somewhat acceptable because he is just so smart and beautiful and calm and direct and amazing...aaaannnyyyway, I didn't even need to take notes because every single word stayed in my mind like the cats pijamas. at the final exam last week, he took off his argyle sweater, to reveal a blue Oxford University t-shirt, and both upper arms were covered with a colorful plethora of lovely tattoos. My swoon factor went through the roof, making it impossible to concentrate on answering the exam questions any time he stood near me. he has such a cute little family. it gives me faith that there is such thing as the real thing, that everything I desire will one day be mine. There is a light at the end of the tunnel (so don't hang yourself, with the celibate rope)
